De ritmes Flowing, Staccato en Chaos zijn de ingangspoorten naar ons centrum, de bron van ons gevoel van vertrouwen. Gecentreerd zijn en vertrouwen is wat ons in staat stelt om het moment volledig te ervaren voor wat het is. Wanneer we niet gecentreerd zijn, reageert ons lichaam vanuit onze angsten en verdedigingen, en we creëren alleen oude verhalen opnieuw, waardoor het deel van ons dat gehecht is en niet klaar is om te veranderen, wordt bekrachtigd. Ons centrum is onze wortel. Wanneer we erin geworteld zijn, bewegen we instinctief en intuïtief.
Gecentreerd zijn stelt ons in staat om vloeibaar, gefocust en vrij te zijn en om te handelen vanuit het diepste en wijste deel van onszelf, ons BoedhhaZelf. Boedhha in de Beat is een uitnodiging om te dansen en om samen met mij verder te onderzoeken hoe we in alle omstandigheden aanwezig en bewust kunnen zijn, ons centrum in de chaos van alle dingen kunnen houden en onze pijn en lijden kunnen transformeren in eenvoudige wijsheid en liefdevolle compassie.
De vraag is: Kunnen we, als het oog van de orkaan, door de ritmes van het leven bewegen, in licht en schaduw, met een stille, ruime boeddha geest? Het antwoord zit in de dans… jouw dans.
Jonathan Horan is Gabrielle Roth’s son. He is the Executive Director of her international institute, 5Rhythms Global. Jonathan has been immersed in the 5Rhythms practice throughout his life and continues to be a key catalyst in its evolution. He is a member of the core teaching faculty of both training and advanced work and teaches workshops of all levels around the world.

Friday 11th (open evening class) is recommended as part of the workshop, but not mandatory.
